Craig Tracy‘s work is not just a beautiful painting on the body but it’s an optical illusion, the illusion to see where it ends a human body and starts the background of the composition.
Craig Tracy was born and raised in New Orleans. After graduating with honors from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, he got an illustrator job in an advertising agency.
But after working for 6 years there, Craig realized that commercial illustration work and to order him to kill the passion and energy of a true artist. And he was gone, having been engaged in murals, airbrushing, design T-shirts and all that came under his arm. he first painted the human face, Craig realized that finally and irrevocably in love with body art. He started collecting works of inspire and delight of his body art, hang them in the wall of his house. He began working on a series of works called “Painted Alive”.
Today, Craig Tracy is one of the best painters in the world, and engaged in painting the body. Craig is an honorary Jury member of World Body Painting Festival, and it is held annually in southern Austria with over one hundred and eighty Artists from forty different nations.
