“Miss France 2013” Winner Causes Race Controversy (9 Photos)
19 year old student, Marine Lorphelin, won the title of “Miss France 2013”. However, her win has sparked conflict within the country due to issues of race. Reportedly, the fact that the winner of this title is once again a white person, has dissatisfied CRAN (Representative Council of Black Associations).

Ski Resorts Of the Early 1970s (30 Photos)
Soon after its founding in the early 1970s, the Office of the U.S. Environmental Protection (EPA) has set up a project «Project Documerica», to examine the state of the environment and take steps to improve it. By 1974, more than 100 photographers participating in the project have made more than 81 thousand pictures. Photographer Ron Hoffman captures ski resorts in Aspen, Colorado, in January and February 1974.
