Buckingham Palace was turned into pink on Monday 1 October to support Breast Cancer Campaign’s Breast Cancer Action Month. During the month of October, the main attractions of London, England, was highlighted in pink as part of an awareness campaign for the prevention of cancer.

The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Nelson’s Column, Somerset House, Trafalgar Square, and other landmark buildings were giving the message of cancer awareness.

Mustache Competition In France
This year the eyes of the world were on London during the Olympics, but this past weekend, the facial hair follicles were pointed toward Wittersdorf, France. The competition was held in the town Vittersdorf near Mulhouse in eastern France.

The small community in the Alsace region was the site of the European Beard and Moustache Championships, where Europe’s best growers meet for a facial hair face-off.

Tough Mudder – The Race to Survive in Australia (11 Photos)

On the first day of April in Australia took a grueling marathon – Tough Mudder (“Race to the bottom”). Organizers multikilometer set out to attract more runners, and they succeeded. More than 22,000 people took part in the passage of an obstacle course, specially designed by the British Special Forces. They had to overcome many obstacles in extreme conditions – mud, heat, water … Not everyone managed to get to the finish, but more valuable prize was handed over to the winners.
