Sebastian

Sebastian
It’s always interesting to see two Disney characters side by side in movies that are not their own. This is a clear shot of Sebastian from “The Little Mermaid” making an appearance in “Aladdin”

A113

A113
This number can be seen hidden in nearly every Disney/Pixar film. It refers to the room number where the animators are trained and though it began as a gag for Pixar, it has spread into Disney films and even shows like The Simpsons

Buzz Toy

Buzz Toy
“Finding Nemo” is three for three with this reference to “Toy Story”. In the dentist office, this little Buzz Lightyear doll can be seen briefly.

Incredible

Incredible
In one of the dentist scenes of “Finding Nemo”, there is a really quick shot of a child reading a comic book. If you look closely you will see it is a copy of a Mr. Incredible comic referencing to the film “The Incredibles”!

Luigi from Cars

Luigi from Cars
Of all of the Disney/Pixar movies, “Finding Nemo” probably has the most references to other films. Like this shot of Luigi from “Cars”, a film that was still in production at the time.

Magic Carpet

Magic Carpet
In “Princess and the Frog” there is a moment where you can see a woman shaking out a carpet. The design is exactly like the magic carpet from “Aladdin”

Mrs. Potts

Mrs. Potts
In “Tarzan” there is an obvious reference to “Beauty and the Beast”. This tea set looks just like Mrs. Potts and her children. There is even a chipped cup.

Mulan & Stitch

Mulan & Stitch
In “Lilo and Stitch” there is a clear shot of a “Mulan” poster. Even though it looks a little faded in color, it is an exact replica of one of the real movie posters.

Nemo

Nemo
In “Monsters Inc”, one of Boo’s toys was this little fish. This was just two years after “Finding Nemo” came out so the connection was still fresh.

Peg

Peg
At the pet shop in “101 Dalmatians” all of the dogs in the window are puppies except for this familiar dog in the corner. The dog is Peg from the classic Disney film “Lady and the Tramp”

Pinocchio

Pinocchio
In “Aladdin”, there was a scene where Genie and Aladdin were trying to figure out how to woo Princess Jasmine. For a brief moment, Genie transforms his head into Pinocchio’s.

Scar

Scar
In “Hercules”, there is a memorable scene with a lion that looks identical to Scar from “The Lion King”. This is perhaps the most lengthy reference to another character in any Disney film.

Stitch

Stitch
In the film “Treasure Planet”, on the shelf on the far left side a familiar character can be seen. It’s Stitch from “Lilo and Stitch”, which was released the same year.

The Beast

The Beast
The sultan from “Aladdin” had a hobby of stacking animal figures. In this scene, there is an obvious figure of Beast from “Beauty and the Beast”

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Hunchback of Notre Dame
During a scene, there are three Disney characters that can be spotted. Aladdin’s magic carpet, Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” and Pumbaa from “The Lion King”
